Another Saturday program which focus is on the economy is called Goldseek.com Radio. Another dynamite program that will give you an excellent perspective of what is really going on - news never mentioned on the major news channels.

I go to several news sites: The one that is new - but growing fast is republic Media TV. Here you get news in video format. Site like this will (hopefully) take over the "alleged news" shown on the major TV networks. Another is Drudge. Another, The Rumor Mill New Room.
A good perspective of what is happening in terms of stock, commodities and currency can be seen at a glance here on Kitco. When I began monitoring this site (year 2002) gold was at $350 per oz, silver $5 per oz. Today gold is around $900 and silver $17. If you don't have gold or silver - there is still plenty of time to get in - but don't wait too long. Silver is my recommendation and many "in the know" feel $100 silver per oz is a very real possibility. Explore around - there are plenty of news articles to be found as well.
